Jesse Elmer Shuman, Bloomsburg, Pa., physician and surgeon, was born on 30 July 1869. He received an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1891. During most of his career, he was associated with the Bloomsburg Hospital. Shuman was also president of the Columbia County Medical Society.
